Corrections we make are listed here, with the date, the page corrected, what was wrong, and what is now correct. Cosmetic edits, formatting changes, and tone improvements are not logged.

- 30 July 2026: a verification pass of every claim in UK Crypto Tax Guide 2025/26: Everything You Need to Know against HMRC guidance corrected two quotations that did not match the cited pages, corrected our descriptions of HMRC's test for an unprompted disclosure and of the conditions for avoiding a failure to notify penalty, and removed or reworded three further statements the cited guidance did not support. Rates, allowances, deadlines and penalty percentages were unaffected.
- 30 July 2026: two quotations attributed to HMRC in our guides did not appear verbatim on the cited pages. The affected guides were CARF Explained: What UK Crypto Holders Need to Know in 2026, UK Crypto Tax Guide 2025/26: Everything You Need to Know and Received an HMRC Crypto Letter? Here is What to Do. The quotations have been rewritten as paraphrases of the published guidance. No figures or rules changed.
